When we lived in St. Louis and Chicago, we used to go the Oshkosh for the air show every year, but I haven't been for 12 or 13 years. In fact by the time my son was 6, he'd been there 5 times!
If you are an airplane nut (as I am) it is the ultimate experience!
I highly recommend going if you ever get the opportunity.

I might have had one of those! I know I had one that lunched like that but my feeble brain just doesn't remember if it had the folding wings!
I had tons of the other balsa "fixed" wing planes though!

I've always wanted to go to Oshkosh, and maybe I will, but I HAVE been to Sun and Fun. Its a great excuse to go to Florida while its cold and wet here.

I just looked at the EAA web site (http://www.eaa.org/) and it appears that it was last week, ending yesterday.
I lived in Tampa for 3 years in the early 80's but never went to it.
Bummer!
