Had dinner last night at the New Sonic in Hillsboro and let me just say one word AWESOME!
I had the Super Sonic with Cheese meal with Onion Rings and it was heaven on earth. I loved the whole drive in atmosphere where you pull in, give your order and 3 minutes later they come out and deliver your order to you. Their menu is HUGE too, tons of desserts, Burgers, chilli dogs ect. I was really impressed. They also had the slushy ice in my coke. I love slushy ice and havent had it in a long time.
The only problem was I parked too close to the menu board and got a small dent on the YUGO as I was backing up.
Other than that it was great!
If you're in need of some grease, where is your first choice? And, have you been to a Sonic?

We mentioned Sonic awhile back, it got mixed reviews, as I recall...I love Sonic and will be going soon!

I'll keep in mind the damage to the Yugo...my big a** diesel will have the same problem if I'm not careful

The place is about a mile from my house and I have yet to eat there.

Didn't say that, just grease slides in, grease slides out! I've been trying to eat better and now to much grease makes me physically sick!

Ate at my first Sonic in Rapid City SD this last summer...I wasn't terribly impressed. Package is pretty, contents fair.

Don't you guys scare me like that about Burgerville! I've been enjoying that place since first going to Burgerville #1 and #2 when they had the shrimp burger. Now I just stick to the old stanby double beef cheese with extra sauce when I want to harden the arteries.

It's still one of the key stops I make when traveling I-5 to BC. Heck, I'm just excited we are eventually getting a Sonic down here in the future. It was a big day when Jack in the Crack opened. I thank them for my first meal Christmas Eve when I moved to Klamath Falls.

YES!!! SONIC! It's like any place, always depends on the manager. Lumberton, NC, excellent staff, great food and nice clean area, better than most Sonic's I've been too.

Next time I'm up in Portland, I'll have to scour the hills again for one, or wait for KFalls to get the one in soon.

Almost forgot... greasy... Mike's Drive in out off Hwy 99 in Milwaukie! But for best tasting burger, give me STANISH's anytime! Sure miss the egg, ham and all that cholesterol harding stuff! OH YEAH!

I just found out today where the Vancouver Sonic is going to be.

It will be near the new Wal-Mart at NE Mill Plain and NE 192nd.

They are also building a J.C. Penny's there, FWIW.

They're building a bunch of Sonics in Spokane.

While it won't replace Zip's, I LOVE Sonic. First time I had Sonic was in Vegas, and it was the BOMB!
