Within the last 5-6 years what songs are overplayed on the radio that are so bad that they make you want to poke your eyes out??

The song I just don't get is that god-awful Ingrid Michaelson song "the way I am". What a ridiculously stupid song with juvenile lyrics that are so dumb.

"I'll buy you rogaine, when you loose all your hair". Enough said! The production on that song or lack of is bizarre.
What are your nominations for the WORST SONGS. And yes these are subjective opinions but thats what makes this so fun!

Wouldn't it be easier to list those NOT overplayed? You know like anything new from Rush or the Scorpions. DIG. Cmon people play this stuff or I will without radio. I know your listening!

This goes back way further than 5 years, but anything by Journey or Jefferson Starship.

Oh sorry - I missed the 5-6 years part. Although Starship and Journey still reign supreme in this category.

I'd have to say whomever sings that " Beautiful Girls " song really bugs me to a degree that I can't change the station fast enough. Very whiny.

Most Blink 182 too.

I don't listen to the "newer" music, unless it is by the classic artists, so I have no clue about the 5-6 year old songs.

But...ANYTHING by the Cars or Pretenders makes me want to stick a hot soldering iron in my ears.

Add to that any Rap crap and cry in your beer cowboy music. I do however, like country rock!

"You're Beautiful" James Blundt
"New Slang" Shins
and pretty much anything else ever recorded by the Shins (Their stuff isn't necessarily overplayed, as I can tell anyways; just more annoying than anything)
"Break Away" Kelly Clarkston
*anything* by Christina Aguilerra
"Fidelity" Regina Spector
"Bad Day" Daniel Power
"New Shoes" by that one kid whose name I can't remember at the moment
"Curb-side Prophet" Jason Mraz
"The Remedy" Jason Mraz
pretty much anything else by Jason Mraz

..........shall I state more, or shall I speak at this?

(Makes me wonder how Dad can still stand to listen to KINK.....however, I suppose by the time one reaches 51 [his birthday was last week] lifelong habits must become hard to break............)

Edit add:
"First Cut Is The Deepest" Sheryl Crow. They are playing that on KINK right now, as I write these words.

That Gnarls Barkley song...just typing the name of it makes me want to throw a hammer at something...and it was such a cool song before he got ahold of it.

I Don't mind Gnarles Barkley, Infact that is probably one of the better songs out right now, AND thats not saying much since most of the stuff coming out today is dog crap! I could mention all the Crappy songs and artists that make me want to vomit, BUT that would go on forever.
But lets just say the creme of the CRAP, the steaming pile of DOG DUNG includes
Daniel Powder
Ingrid Michal-whatver the hell her name is. Most annoying song on the radio
Anything by Sheryl CROW- CRAP CRAP CRAP!
Goo Goo Dolls- Don't even get me started, Crap is putting it nicely!
And the nomination for the worst band of all time - TRAIN.
BLAH!!!!!!

The Black Plague - Eric Burdon & The Animals ("Bring out your dead!") Actually a great song to creep people out with late at night.

They tried to pass off "My Humps" as a novelty tune, but we all know that real novelty songs have a very short life on the radio. This piece of crap was still in active rotation a year after it came out.

While I do like crap, even I have my limits.
