So much for the "surge is working" rhetoric. This is bad news for all of us. It's a shame that Bush's war will have to endure another year of his mismanagement.

" Do you have a link to something that proves it's not true?" A link? How about just telling you that I don't hate America? Would that work for you? If not, you just tell me what an acceptable bit of proof would be and I'll say it to you, if I believe it. What can I show you or tell you or say to you that will counter your constant assertion that I am an America hater? Be specific.

"Your disrespect for the office of the President of the United States is amazing. For liberals, it's all about ME. As a matter of fact, that's why liberals can't sing. They only have one note. me me me me me me me" Name ANYONE in here who has shown disrespect for the OFFICE of President of the United States. ANYONE. PLEASE. Waiting STILL waiting Now do many of us have little to no respect for the man who is IN the position of President of the United States? Absolutely. He has done NOTHING TO EARN OUR RESPECT. From his completely failed policies domestically, to his failed policies abroad, to the mishandling and dropping the ball on the true prize of Afghanistan, to Iraq, to doing everything in his power to piss off every single ally the United States has abroad, to his miserably failed dealings with free trade, driving the US Dollar to record lows, more jobs overseas, and all-time record home foreclosures, to being a snobbish little fucking imp who has a Napoleon complex with anyone who isn't a Neo-Con, to his outright contempt of the Constitution of the United States of America ... I could go on for days. It ain't the position we disrespect. It's the moron IN that position.

For liberals, it's all about ME. The definition of Liberal is what? American liberals endorse regulation for business, a limited social welfare state, and support broad racial, ethnic, sexual and religious tolerance, and thus more readily embrace Pluralism, and affirmative action. And Republicans want taxes for the RICH (ME) NO socialized medicine because THEY can afford insurance(ME) ONLY their ideals heard (ME) ONLY their laws being passed (ME).... Thank God above that I registered as an Independent. Now I'm free of both sides of the ME! ME! Party....

Deane only believes in a government for the rich. He's made that so clear it penetrates the so called fog he says the rest of us live in. Deane lives in fear of the freedoms the government guarantees us all. Deane only wants the rich to have these freedoms, and doesn't want the government to change any of those laws that might hurt his own bottom line. Deane doesn't give a crap about soldiers getting killed in Iraq as long as there are tax breaks that limit his personal liability to contribute. Ultra conservatives are so wrapped up in themselves its a pity. Did you know that recent tests concluded that the more conservative a person is, the greater the chance that their IQ is lower than a liberal.

And Liberals are Trannies now? Maybe this is just a special kind of person, who isn't playing hard ball with the rest of the [largely corrupt] GOP. Kind of like calling somebody a sissy for not wanting to follow through on a crime, or something. That's grade school stuff man. Lame ass. Probably it's just yet another variation on liberals being wimps... That bit of fun has been playing out for the entire Bush (P)residency! Was wrong then, is wrong now. Hell, why not post up a few more as a public service? Liberal does not equal weak. Conservative does not equal strong. Both are measures of personal character, not overall ideological merits. Bush, or the GOP, does not equal America. Not having respect for Bush, based on his performance, is not lacking respect for the office, either. (in fact, all of us here are quite likely to have more than average respect, given how we have all participated over time) McCain very likely equals a third Bush term. To debunk this, he's gotta basically assert that the current policies and actions of the GOP are not the right ones, meaning THEY WERE WRONG. Would be great to run on. People would listen. Not so great for the GOP, as it would then have to commit to significant change. That's dammed if he does, dammed if he doesn't territory. Major bummer for McCain. Gee, wasn't that fun? For some added entertainment, here's the inside scoop on Trannie life, in the form of responses to questions you really shouldn't ask! --->Enjoy! It's actually pretty funny! http://www.boingboing.net/2008/03/24/bad-questions-to-ask.html

Speaking of trannies, there ARE conservative trannies, they are among the most depressed and most likely to off themselves. Unlike liberal trannies, conservative trannies have been rejected by their friends, their families, their church, their colleagues, their . . . Truly sad. They live miserable lives unless they open their minds to at least moderate thinking.

Waitaminnit? Liberals are trannies? Which party rolled out a transvestite Presidential candidate in this primary season? Liberals can't sing? So, you are willing to trade virtually every great artist and performer in American history for John Ashcroft and his sore eagle? Good heavens Deane, you sure do love to fight about nothing. By the way, when we have 70,000 Iraqi militants on our payroll to keep them from killing us, the surge is not working at all.

The liberal viewpoint is sicker than I thought it was. Most liberals won't admit this position, but Ed you're on record. I'll give you that much, you don't hide from it. Just get past your knee-jerk reaction for a moment and think about it. A law-abiding citizen is doing exactly what the government is telling him to, basically conceding that "government knows better how you should conduct your life." If you are a law-abiding citizen Deane, and you pull up to a stop sign at an intersection with no cars within miles and you still stop, you are acceding to government regulation despite you own common sense. Or you fear punishment from government (a ticket), again conceding it's power over you.

In what way? To some degree we all accept government's authority over us. If someone claims to be a "law-abiding citizen" he is actually proud to follow government's rules over his life. Sometimes the hardest thing to see is what's in the mirror.
