Memo to Dick:

If the Republican goal is to win in Iraq and the Democratic goal is to get out of Iraq, when the media points out to you that 80% of the country wants to get out of Iraq this means that even if all Democrats want to get out that mathematically (assuming equal numbers of Dems and Reps) that 30% of the total or 60% of YOUR OWN PARTY want to get out, aren't you further alienating Mr. McCain's base by blowing off the press and saying "So?"

I'm convinced that Cheney doesn't care what people think. He's only in it for himself as a desperate attempt to somehow change his disastrous legacy. Good luck Dick.

I do not believe that he even cares about his legacy. I really believe that it's ALL about the money to him. Gotta hand it to him though, the dude has got some amazing power. He hasn't been handed any of it either - it's been earned. The guy is shrewd. Imagine what he could have done if he had used his talents for good things that matter.
