I have recently noticed more and more when I am in a place of business, KINK is on in the background. Anyone else notice this?

Not at all, Infact I have never heard Kink on at any business/restraunt. The station Im starting to hear a lot more of is Kool 1059. Was at Allstate insurance yesterday and they had Kool blasting on the radio. Ate at my favorite local Ribs place last night and they had Charlie on.

There are two shops in my neighborhood that used to play K-Hits and that now run KOOL. Haven't heard KINK in ages.

Mostly I hear KOOL in places I go into...sandwich shops, bike repairs shops, unemployment office, etc.

These days there is not much difference between KINK and what I hear in the grocery store and elevators ... actually I prefer the grocery stores, no commercials!

I way prefer elevators to the commercial FM dreck being pumped out these days...With the exception of KLOO-FM, plus KMHD 'Trad Jazz' and KBOO Bluegrass.

For an hour, they play the original NAC format that they invented in 1974.

It's been really great hearing Mike Turner on the morning show with Les Sarnoff.

He did a "try out". Mike is a great guy, hope it works out.

Wow that would be a great move for KINK....Turners talent for longform news would be great on KINK also...
