Have never gotten into the Myspace thing. Our daughter has Facebook but that's the extent of it.

I have a very basic MySpace page for a while but I got fed up with MySpace. The ads are obnoxious, and I got nothing but spam - constantly spambots asking me to add them as a friend, just a gateway to some porn site. I finally deleted everything but the page itself.

I do have a fairly substantial Facebook page, because I have a number of friends who use it. A high school friend I hadn't talked to in 18 years friended me via Facebook just the other day - that was kind of cool.

I got mine because I needed a place to send someone to look at a picture.

I've gotten a few (maybe 4 or 5) spams since I set it up about 6 months ago. I just recently went in and changed the spam settings to be even tighter and haven’t gotten any since.

why is everyone so shy and won't show their real face on the myspace pics???? Bill, that is a killer Truck, BUT who is the face of the owner that drives the truck, and MC74 where is some real pics of you??C'mon we won't bite! And when I do bite its not very hard.

My myspace page is lousy...I prefer facebook myself...I have some photos of me at the "mighty" KKJC on there somewere too.

I pretty much just use it as a venue to share my vacation photos!

I'm too poor to bu XP, so i'm using Windows 2000.
It won't let me upgrade, but Firefox and Opera crash on myspace also.

No problems with Firefox crashing on my old Windows 2000 box. Windows 2000 is actually an excellent, stable operating system, on which XP was based. (vs. WIndows 98 and ME were were terrible.). No real need to upgrade to XP, really. I suspect something else is wrong with your box. Do you have Service Pack 4 (SP4) installed? Do you have the very latest Firefox 2.0.0.12 installed?
