Obama is not yet the nominee, but the McCain camp is now circulating more quotes from Obama's minister in an attempt to smear him and play the race card.

However, McCain has his own little nasty connections to some religious nutbags that he should be careful about.

"Well, now McCain is part of that discussion. And it's a dangerous place for him to be, what with Rev. John Hagee's anti-gay remarks (curiously unremarked upon by anyone in the McCain campaign -- is the McCain campaign afraid to repudiate anti-gay remarks?), his anti-Catholic remarks (once condemned by McCain, but now McCain wants to give Hagee the benefit of the doubt)?, his millennialism (which means, as some honest McCain adviser must have explained to the candidate by now, the death of millions of innocent Muslims)... also: Jerry Falwell, and his casual association of 9/11 with the sins of homosexuality, and Rod Parsley, a man who McCain has called a "spiritual guide," a man who has also called Islam a "false religion" and has advocated war against it and various other bad things.

Why are these folks entitled to these opinions and Wright isn't entitled to his?"

Typical of the left, there is no evidence the McCain camp has circulated anything, but they'll repeat the BS until somehow it becomes factual in people's minds.

If only the left had something useful to offer, it could actually be interesting.

Obama has a 20 year history with this guy's rhetoric and has given him a lot of financial support. As the facts come out about Obama, he's not going to be quite as pure as the driven snow as some thought he was.

What are we offering DJ?
If McCain is going to do business as usual DUHbya style then WE are offering America nothing!
Electing Hillary would be the same. I way I see it Obama is the only answer to change.
McCain is starting to sound like a DUHbya clone. I'm not liking it and I guarantee you that America won't either.....
I'm losing faith in my guy.....

I was just watching Olbermann interviewing Obama about this.

While I was watching it occurred to me that maybe, just maybe the Obama camp put this out.

1. So they could get this out now, and distance from the guy.

2. I heard a statistic yesterday that just blew me away.
13% of Americans (apparently the stupidest 13%) believe that Obama is a Muslim.
What better way to get that out of the way than to get these same stupid people to start pushing the statements of his Baptist minister.

I don't think I beleive this.
But it's a thought.

Deane, did you even read the article? Perhaps you missed this part:

"and an opinion piece in Friday's Wall Street Journal that was circulated by the campaign of Sen. John McCain."

DJ...
If you want the same crap that going on in America RIGHT NOW then that's fine. If McCain stands for that when they debate then I'm ALL IN for Obama.

Right you are, and a good thing they picked up on it since the left wing press will never bring this important information to the attention of the voting public.
