Ok I am bringing this thread back to see if we have anyone else watching this genius show.

I have some questions that need answered cause after last nights episode I am a bit confused.

When it comes to the Oceanic 6 I count 7 not 6.
Jack
Kate
Hurley
Aaron
Sayid
Sun
Jin

But how did Jin die?

Why was Hurley the only one to show up in Korea for Sun's celebration of a new birth in the family?

Is Mr Johnson, indeed Micheal? Is Micheal the sabatuer on the freighter ship? Is Walt still alive?

Who is the true bad guy? Benjiman Linus or Charles Widmore?

People if you haven't watched this show now is the time to watch the previous seasons and catch up and get LOST with the rest of us. Whether you stream previous episodes online at ABC.com, or rent or buy previous seasons on DVD now is the time to experience the genius of JJ Abhrams the creator of LOST.

GREAT program!!

I didn't really watch it when it first came on then my son turned me on to it. I was instantly hooked!

I need to go and buy the first season as I missed a bunch of it.

Lost and Cold Case are the only two shows that are "Must See" programs for me. I watch other programs, but those two are the ones I try my best not to miss.

I watch it a DVR it so I can g back and re-watch if I need to.

A lot of times I’m in the garage making pens and trying to watch at the same time so having the ability to go back and re-watch is invaluable!

I especially like that they re-run the previous week’s episode with a "narrative" at the bottom of the screen.

It's amazing how many references to other programs are built into Lost that you wouldn't know about without the narrative.

I haven't seen Aaron in the Oceanic 6, maybe I need to go back and watch again!

Is Jin really dead, or since they "found" the wreckage of Oceanic 815 with all the passengers on it is the Jin that is dead and buried the Jin from the wreckage? Hmmm.

Here are a couple of Lost web sites for your enjoyment!

A... Aaron was not on the passenger list therefore not part of the oceanic 6, Michael however IS.... Is he # 6? Is he in the coffin when jack is the only one to show up at the funeral a few weeks back?

Re Jin:

Hint: look at the date on Jins headstone....

Remember, Penny was called from the boat by Desmond on CHRISTMAS EVE.... Walt is on the Island. Michael was Brainwashed by Benjamin.....Though they sailed off together, I think they picked Walt off until Michael finished doing Ben's bidding. I FINALLY put it together at the book auction.... SIMPLY FOLLOW THE MONEY!!!

My bet is Widmore Financed the Dharma Inititive..

(probably with the money he made owning the magazine empire on ugly Betty..I hate cross over acting what not enough actors in hollywood?)

In part to find the secrets of the island where the ship is located. (I also bet the mysterious invisible person is the captain of the lost ship and time traveller.

After watching them all the only two things I picked up were when Farraday landed on the island. Magnetism? Farraday? Hmmm then the reference to the Tempest....

The tie ins, name dropping, and all the other this connects to that ( glad they do the enhanced shows) shows how brilliant the writers and producers are... the average TV zombie gets nothing more than entertainment. Who could have know the equation on farradays blackboard was an actualy equational theory pertaining to time travel......

Too many dead ends.... seems to be fewer "passengers"/extras than there should be.

WHY does the russian guy not die? the spear gun didn't kill him, not the magnetic fence? did the grenade? Why didn't charlie go out the door and latch it from the outside before the russian blew the port with the grenade. "He didna hafta die brutha" What about the woman who just jumped from the deck of the ship? Will we find out why? Why has someone not killed the manipulative ben?
Who was in the coffin? Didn't Hurleys recent police chase remind you of the wendy's commercial? Coincedence that he used to work in a chicken place?

Is he in the coffin when jack is the only one to show up at the funeral a few weeks back?

My three guesses on this one are:

Walt because when Miles is introduced and they do the flash back he goes ghost hunting at the house and I am pretty sure that the kids room there is a potrait of Walt on the wall.

Another possibility is Rose but it is insinuated by Bernard in this last episode that she had cancer when the plain crashes and then now she claims to feel fine on the island ala John Locke can now walk after the crash and he was in a wheel chair.

Another possibility is the chick that first landed on the island from the first parachute drop from the helicopter before Miles, Faraday, and the bitch chick with evil eyes that pistol whipped Kate.

It was obviously an innercity African American church where Jack showed up at in the first flash forward.

Its a great show and the creators have stated that there will only be a total of 48 episodes and the series finale won't air till 2010. I am hoping for a feature film after the show ends it only makes perfect sense.

When it comes to crossovers of characters and storylines to and from other shows it has been speculated by fans. But I doubt it highly. I hadn't heard about the Ugly Betty connection specualtion but have heard that some believe that Heroes and Lost are somehow connected.

I here people rave about Heroes but I have not been able to get into that show.

JJ Abhrams is known for surprise endings and his masterful twists and turns. I have yet to see the series finale of JJ's Felecity but I have heard it all ends being a dream? Is that true? Alias had somewhat of the same twists and turns that Lost has but I wasn't ever able to get into that show.

Notice how the people that are killed off of Lost or have already been killed off of Lost that the majority of those main characters have been the ones to get into trouble in Hawaii over DUI's. The actor that plays Jin was the latest last summer. And I think Michelle Rodriguez is currently serving a sentence in LA jail.

Note to Lost actors don't fuck up when drinking in Hawaii less you want to be written off the show.

The only one who was ever saved by the shows writers after getting a DUI in Hawaii is the actress that currently plays Penelope. As she was originally on the first two seasons as the stewardess who fell in love with Hurley.

When will it ever be established on the show if ever that Hurley is actually Locke's boss? IE Locke worked for a box company in LA and Hurley was the owner of the box company one of his many purchases after he won the MegaLotto with the Lost numbers.

Jin is not one of the The Oceanic 6.

Anything that even SMACKS of time travel has me hooked forever.

The ability to shift the story from off the island to in the future was absolutely brilliant.

My guess, right now, is that he person in the casket was Ben.

The people who were not the Oceanic 6 chose, deliberately, to stay on the island and are not dead...even in the future. Others made it off the Island, in the future. But not everyone who did so is known to ever have been on the Island.

Karma is a HUGE theme. Every weakness or special ability that each member had before the crash has followed them to the island.

The literary and scientific references are amazing and will keep the show on a plane that is well above average.

Locke will become the new Ben for the Island.

" the actress that currently plays Penelope. As she was originally on the first two seasons as the stewardess who fell in love with Hurley." - I don't think that is correct.

All of my ideas could be right. All of them could be wrong.

The show is really pretty amazing.

no, Hurleys girfriend who michael killed with the hot ex cop. was drew careys girlfriend the last season of the DC show. not Penelope. She was in the nuthouse with Hurley, neither know it, and that was never explained either.... This type of show always leads to dead ends and it may never be explained.....

The cross over comment was just a comment on too few actors working, not any tie in.

How about the reference that Sawyer and Locke are related?

Alias comment. That show was supposed to run another year, but when Jennifer Garner got preggo and said she wouldn't be back they pulled the plug early.. too many loose ends to tie up in two hours... ending sucked....

My first thought was it was Rose's funeral, but someone would have gone.... then I thought Sawyer.... remember when the Funeral director said friend or family, Jack said neither.......

Actually I think Miles got the drugs and cash from Michaels room, not Walts, I figure Walt is still on the island.....

BTW, where are the rest of the "others"?

My guess, right now, is that he person in the casket was Ben.

This doesn't make sense to me as the flash foward sequence with Sayid finishes with the revealing of Ben as Sayid's employer.

So....That's how Michael got on the boat.

And who shot Carl and Ben's wife?

So now it looks like a rerun next week and possibly 3 additional reruns until new episodes start on 24-APR.

Hmmm....

Also, what's up with the 1 frame "The Mole" flashes right before they would come back from a commercial?

DAMN too many people get killed on this show!

The French woman survived so long. She should have drifted back into the jungle.

So was there one more on the first helicopter trip? OR, is one of the "OTHERS" pulling the trigger? Silencer and high powered sniper rifle makes me think it's someone on the island. The commandos on the boat had automatics.

Damn, Michael did a job on that Dodge Aspen. Guess it passed the Crash test!

Michael in the casket! he also has to be 1 of the six.

OOOOH the gay thing was not necessary. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Still didn't explain how Michael got home. last we saw he was on a rickety old boat with Walt. WHO RESCUED HIM?

WIDMORE WILL DIE, That is who the woman who shot Sayid was working for. My guess is when it wraps,
Desmond will kill Widmore while his daughter watches, Probably after he says "Desmond, you are still a coward."

Since Widmore "PLANTED THE OCEANIC WRECKAGE" he somehow has to be related to the Dharma Initiative...still think he financed it in part to exploit whatever secrets it held. knew where the island was and was able to come and go until Ben took over and kept it Locked Down and invisible on a permanent basis.

The Black Rock has to be a very valuable piece of salvage for Widmore to fake a crash site underwater no less.

And what was with all the Mole flashes? Its not worth bringing back unless they can get Anderson Cooper to host. But that won't happen. They must think that the same demographic that watches LOST would be the same that would support the resurrected Mole.
