The Lee Abrams Blog ( http://leeabrams.blogspot.com/ ) is announcing that Lee will be resigning his duties as Vice President and Chief Creative Officer at XM Satellite Radio to start a job with Chicago's Tribune Media. His new title will be Chief Innovation Officer.

Does anyone else on this board read the Lee Abrams blog? I've found some interesting insights while reading the blog, but I've been left wondering what the motivations were behind its creation. Once Lee starts his new job on April 1, he will no longer post to the blog. I am not sure whether that also means that the blog archive posts will be taken down.

Didn't find it until I saw your link. Agree or disagree, it's great stuff. (Loved the baseball/spring observations!) I'll make it a point to soak in what I can.

It'll be our loss that the blog ceases soon...but there's no use giving ammo to the enemy!

I'm a longtime reader of Lee Abram's blog and will miss his creative thinking and airplane stories. Can't say that I agree with 100% of the cocktail napkin doodling that he presents as having sprung from the brow of Zeus. Despite his title of "Chief Innovation Officer," it'll be fun watching the inevitable midair collision that's coming with his boss, the ultimate micromangler Randy Michaels. And WGN's in for a thrill ride. It commits the multiple sins of respecting its own history, and having guys with pipes.

Poor Randy, always getting a bum rap. Or is it because he is a bum?

I didn't realize that Z-Rock was a Lee Abrams creation! The press release about Lee's move to Tribune Media mentions that he has been a marketing consultant to MTV, Swatch, and Coca-Cola. It will be a lot of fun to watch Lee Abrams and Randy Michaels lock horns (evil grin)!
