CRISTA Ministries is pleased to announce the appointment of Stan Mak as the new Vice President and General Manager of CRISTA Broadcasting (KCMS 105.3, KCIS 630AM, and PRAISE 106.5).

Originally from Hong Kong, Mr. Mak came to the U.S. after high school and attended Eastern Washington University. Stan brings 27 years of broadcast management to CRISTA Broadcasting. Following graduation with a BA in Radio and Television Management in 1972, Stan began his career as an Account Executive at KREM AM & FM and KREM TV in Spokane. He then moved to Seattle to become an Account Executive at KING AM and KING TV, later moving within KING Broadcasting to Portland, Oregon to become General Sales Manager at KINK FM. Stan was promoted to General Manager at KINK FM and is credited for making the station the power house it is today. In 1995, Stan moved to Vice President and General Manager at KUPL and KKJZ and most recently served as the VP/GM of CBS Radio in Portland, Oregon.

“Stan has a history of managing multi-station clusters and is known for his strategic thinking as well as his ‘building leaders’ and ‘compassionate management’ style. Throughout his 27 years in broadcast management Stan has left his mark of increasing value to those stations he has managed”, says Bob Lonac, President & CEO of CRISTA.
