Interesting about Spitzer... I recall the Payola investigations a few years back:


NEW YORK Gov. ELIOT SPITZER -- the man who as State Attorney General magnified payola allegations to the point where the labels and radio had to settle to the tune of many millions of dollars, and many lost their jobs as a result of the allegations -- is facing some karmic justice of his own today. After revelations of his involvement in a prostitution ring was reported in TODAY's NEW YORK TIMES, SPITZER abruptly scheduled a press conference this afternoon to deal with the allegations.

Watching the story unfold on CNN...heard a quote that struck me as being particularly poetic (not sure who the guy was): "....we all have our own private 'hells'..today, I hope that Eliot's is a bit hotter."

I think that Eliot Spitzer is self-righteous and full of his own virtue. He seems to believe that the letter of the law is directed at everyone except himself.

Otherwise, I couldn't care less WHO he sleeps with.

Spitzer's just following in the long line of idiots who've occupied the NY state governor's mansion. Carey...Cuomo...etc...
