Who remembers The TV Series "Movin' On" starring Claude Akins as Sonny Pruitt & Frank Converse as Will Chandler. They played truck drivers. Movin' On ran for 2 seasons on NBC between 1974-76. A few of the episodes were filmed in Oregon including Astoria & The Dalles.

In the first season of FOX TV's "Cops", Portland was featured later in 1990. This was the beginning of Sgt. John Bunnell's TV career.

I've heard that an episode of the CBS TV Series "Have Gun Will Travel" starring Richard Boone as Paladin, was filmed in Central Oregon.

One Series I suspect visited Oregon for filming was NBC's "Then Came Bronson" starring Michael Parks as motorcycle adventurer Jim Bronson.

There must be more than these. Can you think of others?

Since the noses were bloodied on another show produced in our fair neighboring state, I will ring in with Roslyn, Washington. It was the home of Northern Exposure.

Many shows faked being in Portland by using stock outdoor footage interspersed with studio interiors. Perry Mason, Rockford Files and 90210 come to mind.

Great thread!

"Hello Larry" was a 1979-80 show about a Portland radio talk show host. I see by the link it was actually filmed here. "The McLean Stevenson Show" was a short-lived sitcom from the 76-77 season and as memory serves, the reason he left MASH.
