Hey, if any of you yaywho's are interested, tomorrow night at 11:00pm the Superstar Concert Series on KGON will feature music from Sammy Hagar. 11:00pm on a Sunday night may be a little tough for me as my head might bounce off of the keyboard tomorrow at work, but it'd be worth it. I just wish that KGON would make podcasts out of this material that you could stream at a later time. They have some really great stuff on late night but I just can't get to it.

Thats a cool site temper, Im just waiting to hear for some Tour dates here in Portland.
Im still a little ticked that Nobody is giving their new album any airplay. ITs complete and total bullshit that they are ignoring the album, I know its because they are too old, and I bet Cheap channel is behind this. Another reason to turn your radio OFF especially when you want to hear good new music. But their record company is also to blame for not promoting the album better. I've seen nothing about this album, no promotional posters at Record Stores, Infact I had no idea they even had a new album out until you told me about it Darktemper.

Glad I could at least let a couple of people know about greatness undiscovered! You know it's sad because as a label do you want some 50+ rockers winning awards instead of your prized young pups! I think it's all about these olds dudes making a mockery of the crap that these young wanna be's are pumping out!

I find it interesting that within the last 10 years Radio has COMPLETELY given up on the older acts that put out new music and I just don't get why. I understand they want to promote the newer bands, but completely ignoring these bands are stupid, especially when some of them are putting out quality new material.
Back in 98/99 I remember Z100 playing a new track from the Rolling stones, I also remember new music in the late 90's from Journey. Aerosmiths new music back in the 90's got A TON of airplay, Van halens new music got a TON of airplay including some top 40 airplay. The Eagles new music was getting a TON of airplay back in the mid to late 90's.
I don't understand why now they have completely given up on the new music from these classic rock bands.
Man, How the music industry and radio has changed over the last 10 years. I think that the only thing radio cares about is IMAGE, if you are over 30 and you have been around a while RADIO HAS GIVEN UP ON YOU.
For instance, How was it that Aerosmith got a TON of radio airplay back in the mid and late 90's and they were then considered a 20 year old band. Did they just have the backing of a great record company??? Or was radio just different back then?
Back in the 90's when Aerosmith was putting out new music, Steven Tyler had to have been in his late 40's. OMG THAT IS SO OLD, HOW IN THE HECK DID CHEAP CHANNEL Play a band that was soooo old???

I heard 2 new scorpions Tracks on KUFO "Hour 1" and "Humanity"
ON KUFO last night. At first I thought I was listening to My IPOD because I was listening to that album on my IPOD earlier, I had to do a double take.
Its about TIME kufo starts to play their new music!! NICE JOB UFO!!!

Well, Its a good start and some airplay is better than no airplay.
I just wish they would play more of it and more often. After watching the interview on You Tube about the making of Humanity Hour 1" these guys seeem like such great guys that are way excited about their new material and are hoping Radio will play some of their new music. Its a little unfair that radio will over saturate "rock you like a hurricane" but not even touch their new music. I hope programmers look behind the whole age thing because not playing a band because they are in their 50's is CRAP!!!! Im pretty sure thats why Clear Channel won't play them, They are too old!!! They won''t play Bruce Springsteens new music because the guy is pushing 50 and Im sure they are doing it to the Scorpions because they are in their 50's. ITS CRAPOLA!

Hey Temper more good news about the new Scorpions album "humanity hour 1".

The other day I decided to venture on over to the west side and check out the new Best Buy off of 18th annd Cornell. Well guess what song was playing over the loadspeakers when I walked in???
"humanity" by The scorpions. And after the song was over, The cheesy voice guy came on and said "that was the latest single off The Scorpions new cd "Humanity Hour 1" called "humanity" and then he came on and said Best Buy has the exclusive Bonus track called "cold" and you can only find it on the Special releases only at BestBuy.
I have a feeling this CD is going to get huge really soon, and I can't wait. Such a good CD!!!
I've been playing the CD in my car non stop for the last 3 months and I'm still not sick of it!

I think that the "The Future Never Dies" for this CD! In "The Game Of Life" this CD will go "321" to the top of the charts!

I think the reason this album is so good is due in part to the biting lyrics which can be directly tied to todays human condition. Hmmmmmm......Humanity Hour 1.....good title!
