"I think that I have a lifetime of experience that I will bring to the White House. Sen. John McCain has a lifetime of experience that he'd bring to the White House. And Sen. Obama has a speech he gave in 2002."

Ah yes, the campaign of magical thinking. Nothing has changed folks. With the same proportions, Hillary can win every state going out and still not have a majority of states, delegates, or the popular vote. Tonight was not a win, but this weekend was very telling. Hillary is returning to her roots as a Republican. Yes, you heard me right.

Why else would she imply that Obama would be soft on national security when she has no record of good judgment or even a security clearance? Why else would she cast a doubt as to whether he was a Christian when she sought solace in her faith while her husband was cheating? Why else would she take out an ad on a hundred Ohio radio stations that appeared to be a "newsflash" full of half-truths about Obama?

She saved her greatest neo-con effort for this evening. As if she were a member of this current administration, she told a lie with a straight face for the millionth time hoping it would stick: She again claimed wins in Florida and Michigan. Hillary, check the memo. Howard Dean will not be seating those delegates. End of discussion.

So, here we are, facing another month of anonymous e-mails going out to Democrats with all sorts of spurious information, racism and fear-mongering. Another month of uncovering thousands of disenfranchised non-white voters from just one night in Ohio and Texas. Another month of bumbling, bribing and baiting from a campaign that cannot win the primary, let alone the general election. Another month of her wrapping herself in the flag, while all the time championing a Dixiecrat regression.

Oh well, if we all amuse her with our hope and our conviction, so be it. If she thinks Obama is just a house boy who registered millions of voters and motivated millions more just for her, so be it. I am done with her kind of people, and her kind of politics. The Democratic Party has one chance to get this right. If they do not, God help us all.

Amen!

It's low-rent trailer trash politics. If anything, Obama has shown considerable character in this.

Edwards did too.

Got one of those recently. It's horrible. Showed it to my wife, who has actually met Clinton in person. She didn't want to believe it.

The years of experience, the stress, Bill, and other things have changed that little girl, who would be President and change the world for the better.

Too damn bad really.

I liked her.

I don't really like Clinton all that much today.

Good Lord, I am so glad that Barack Obama is staying classy, because I would not. I think that the fact that she fought to keep Little Rock a segregated school district is enough for most folks, but the skeletons in her closet are too numerous to count. The party is deluded if they think that the Rezko story is stronger than her "vast experience" of Watergate tampering, Arkansas shadiness, Monica Lewinsky, Vince Foster, Waco, Whitewater, Ron Brown, Wag the Dog in Iraq and the Balkans, the stolen furniture, the pardoned terrorists, et al.

She gets a free pass from a media that makes millions on campaign ads and loves this race. They do not press her on tax returns, they do not question her horrible campaign management, they do not remind her of the monumental failure of her first -- top secret and stubbornly leviathan -- health care plan, and they do not corner her on current financial connections to foreign countries and companies. She also gets to skip along merrily without addressing a single question on the unitary executive. The list is truly endless.

One fact is abundantly clear: At the convention, Obama could unify the party and win over almost all of the Hillary supporters, but the door is swinging closed on her picking up votes from Obama. If you tell enough people that they do not count because they are just red states, just small states, just poor, just black, or just a kid, you will just about alienate the entire base of the Democratic Party.

Good luck with that, Hillary. Just remember, nobody on the Obama side has implied that you should just wait your turn, because you are just a woman. What is your camp saying again? Yeah, just what I thought. What was once respect, and even admiration has boiled away to nothing, because this whole process is just about you.

Add: Hey, Missing_KSKD -- and anyone else who gets this trash about Obama -- I have an idea. We ought to write a nice note and forward it to the Democratic National Committee. The reason you and me and anyone else gets these e-mails is not a coincidence. Whoever is sending them has access to Democratic Party mailing lists. Since there are but two candidates left, they will not need Sherlock Holmes to find the smear machines.
