Hermans Hermits are much more deserving than Rush. Rush is nothing more than a nich band.
The Hermits had a much broader appeal, same with the Monkees. They entertained a a generation of people.

Rush helped revolutionize prog-rock in the 70s. As the times changed, so did their music. They have been entertaining multiple generations of people for 35 years now.

Yes, the R&RHOF is a joke, but since it is one of a half dozen businesses still open in Ohio, I hope they have a good crowd this year.

It is very sad news to hear of the passing of Mike Smith. Though the Beatles hated the DC5, I will always maintain that the rise of other powers in the British Invasion pushed bands all over the world to work harder, including the Fab Four.

The Dave Clark Five managed to keep going for several years without really evolving. That didn't happen much in the 60s.
