Yes! Let's continue to increase our deficit so we can live beyond our means to afford $4 gas. At what point to we admit as a nation that we are not able to afford the lifestyle we are living?

x100 on what Magic Eye said!

I remember when it took a whole year to go from birthday to birthday.

Now it only takes about 6 months!

I'm glad everyone is looking forward to 1/9/09, but I can't wait for 1/20/09 when Bush actually leaves office.

I guess the 9th is when the Great Presidential Pardon Purge will begin...

Don't know if that's possible Trix...But maybe, he will resign just before the 20th and have Cheney pardon him. Hey, it's crazy enough that it just might work!

There's a problem with that idea because Cheney is the one most in need of a pardon!

Not really, Bush will pardon Cheney before resigning and then Cheney will pardon Bush.

Pardon for what? Obviously neither have committed a High Crime or Misdomeanor, otherwise the Demo house would have impeached them.

Blocking access to the evidence, manupulating the department of justice, eliminating the evidence all help a lot with that don't they?

They want FISA immunity for that exact reason. Should litigation begin, their crimes will come out. (well some of them)

AH, But no formal declaration of war has ever been issued against IRAQ. A war on terror, a war on iWlliteracy, a war againt drugs, but not against any country.

Yep. That's a biggie for me.

There were clear terms and conditions attached to the authorization for force. They were not met.

Seems to me, that's a crime. We know the wiretapping, sans due process (warrants), is a crime too.
