Whatever day it is just make sure it is not a beautiful sunny Sunday like the one I chose last time. You might also consider just posting the date and time here. I was just a little paranoid after the weird stalker thing to do so. Things seem pretty stable lately without any loon's, other than the usuall's anyway.

Nah, the "usual place" is Mark Lindsay's Rock and Roll Cafe. Even if some idiot decided to show up, this is a restaurant with staff that I bet would probably show the idiot the door if a majority of the group wanted them to.

Only thing is, how many people would really show up to something this weekend? DT was actually the first to suggest this, but has since said he probably can't make it. Since several of us are saying they have things going on with their kids (no, seriously, that's a good thing... we don't want them to end up like their ol' pal Newflyer ), and the current guess from the 'National Wrong Service' currently says for Sunday as of this writing "Morning clouds then partly sunny. Highs 50 to 55," which isn't that bad for this time of year.

Sunday might work for me if it's late in the afternoon. I'll drop by as soon as I can make it out there.

Ack! No can do on Sunday - monthly Tribal Council meeting in Grand Ronde. If you think Nat'l and OR politics are a mess, you should see 6 of the 9 losers that we have on our council. It's so greedy, unethical and f'ed up that it's mind-boggling. Shocking, actually.

This is along the lines of what I was thinking (some of the truly worthwhile people can't make it)... and I don't know how it can be a PDXradio get-together without DT (especially since this was his idea) and/or Merkin! Station Stalker Sunday, maybe (what would happen if Newflyer has too much of an opportunity to talk), but definitely not worth something you walk in the door for and ask "Where's the PDXradio table?"
So, do the rest of us really want to do this? I'm still interested in showing up if enough other people want to. Even though there's always someone that has same-day change in plans, someone forgets, etc.

Any group from here would be a great get together, yes you to Herb, but it would not be the same without Mrs. M.

Well, Sunday is tomorrow and we still haven't picked a time. Most people are saying mid to late afternoon and/or later on and they'll show up when they can, so how about 3 or 3:30 PM? (4 seems a bit late as it starts interfering with people's evenings.) BTW, I'm the worst one to ask what a good start time is, since I'll most likely arrive in a New Flyer...

Current forecast for tomorrow from the NWS says partly cloudy in the afternoon w/ highs from 50-55. Lows tonight and tomorrow night are supposed to be in the 30s, and the rest of the week is a mix of either warmer and/or rain. So, it may or may not be nice tomorrow afternoon.

Whoever's first, make sure to ask if there is a PDXradio table (as I said, I'll be arriving in a New Flyer (wait a minute... that's a Gillig, oh well - in any event, I can't guarantee I'll be the first one there - but I when I do get there I'll be wearing a shirt for the original meaning of the KVMX calls), and if not let them know that, maybe what, 5-10 people might show up over the next hour or so?

Once again, the location is Mark Lindsay's R&R Cafe, at NE 42nd Ave. and NE Sandy Blvd. in Portland. If you're a regular on the board and can make it later this afternoon, we'd sure like to see you there!

Well, the family keeps me busy enough to make anything but minor weight gain a non-issue right now.

I apologize for flaking out on you guys. The SE Portland Art Walk was on Sunday, and I was with a group that stayed at that event until it ended at 5:00 PM. I had committed to the Art Walk before a time had been set for the PDX Radio get-together.

Yes. She got the manager and I got the 'nope, hadn't heard of it, please leave' look (wasn't exactly what he said, but that's what it seemed like). I'm just used to it as I get it all the time... BTW, I haven't been here on the board since Sunday afternoon, otherwise I would've replied sooner.

Maybe we should figure out someone to set up a reservation next time! BTW, I know for a fact I can't make March 30th, due to standing commitments.
