My daughter was on the Internet today and we got a spyware/malware thing on our computer call Virus Heat. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?
I've tried Spysweeper, Adaware, Spybot and my PCTools Antivirus and it's still there! I looked on the Internet and everyone wants you to buy there crap to get rid of it. Is there another way?

Have you given thought to maybe trying a system restore to a checkpoint prior to that? Probably won't work but worth mentioning. I've had it save my bacon a couple of times.

Personally, I think people that intentionally send out viruses, should be tracked down dealt with in a very severe manor.

Usually, the same people that put that crap on your computer also sell you the crap to get it off.
Ofcourse you never really get it off that way.

Personally, I think people that intentionally send out viruses, should be tracked down dealt with in a very severe manor.
I'm with you 100%. Cut off all their fingers so they have to type with a pencil in their mouth.
Cut off their toes too, just in case they can type with them.
Do it on prime time TV. Make an example out of them.
Edit add: Cut them off without anesthesia.

My daughter (14) was on some sites she should have been on and that's where she got the infection.... And at her age I'm hoping that she doesn't need a condom... YET!
If anyone knows another way except DT and Nwokie's please pass it on! Those didn't work and wanted me to buy there spywear detector.

Best thing I ever found is a spyware/virus blocker called StopZilla. You can download a free trial, but youll want to buy it when the trial is done! This stuff sweeps out EVERYTHING!! It's great!
