Well, I've no love for the DNC, but they have a point.

McCain clearly wanted to leverage public financing. That comes at a price; namely, spending limits.

Seems to me, that needs to be resolved. Either we have a process for this stuff, or we don't. Which is it?

Do we let McCain slide? If so, why?

Also, is there even an issue?

That's why it's gonna go to court. Can't get the answers without it.

So, that's not really dirt --more of a clarification. Did he leverage public funds, should that be binding, why?

The Issue is integrity. McCain signed up for Public Financing knowing that he couldn't raise or spend more than $50 Million in the primaries.

He knew good and well that Romney would spend millions more than that.

So McCain front loaded his spending in a Marathon Race. Now Old John can no longer spend or raise any more money for the rest of the election season since he signed up for public funding of his campaign.

However now Senator McCain is "aborting" his effort to accept public funding and calling it a personal choice.

If he can't get out of Public Financing his campaign will have to go dark until late August which may cause the end of the election ala Kerry in 2004 who had to go dark from July to August and got Swift boated in the interim.

Looks like the Democrats are looking for Quid Pro Qua and the developer of McCain-Feingold will be the one who will have to eat his crow, have his campaign go dark, and end up losing the election big time.

Hey Herb lets hear you comments. Are those people still protesting at your church?

Trixter, by dishing dirt about your supposed "candidate," you're an obvious shill for the left. How about finally coming clean about your leftism? The joke is over.
