If I had a nice lens for this sort of thing, I could have gotten a nice, sharp picture of the moon. Instead, I got this - but at least you can see it:

Canon 5D and a crappy 100-300mm zoom lens. I am uploading a better picture (less noisy)...

Watched the eclipse while driving on 205 N over the Glenn Jackson bridge tonight. Nearly drove a few people off the road.
On my drive back it was a full eclipse. Totally cool event.

Yes, Very good man. Have a cold and just could not drag my sorry ass out to take any pictures tonight. Was thinking of using my Pentax J60C compact telescope and hook it up to my Pentax K1000 and get some close-ups. Have some filters for the telescope that would be cool with the eclipse.

I got up in the middle of the night last time to watch the last lunar eclipse. We caught the last few minutes of tonight's lunar eclipse as well. Fascinating stuff!!
