You can be the unofficial mud-slinger and expose all the other sides dirty laundry. You know, the stuff with spots on it, holes in the toes of socks, that sort of stuff.

A blimp just went over my house. The lights spelled out these messages as it drifted by:

"Can you believe that Michelle Obama has stained potholders with scorch marks?"

"John McCain casually throws his pants down the chute without emptying his pockets!"

"Huckabee has a tie with squirrel bar-be-que on it!"

Wow. I cannot believe that Trix is working for Hillary. I didn't think she had a dollar to spare.

"And why are you so mad at God?"

For not stopping mere mortals from playing God here on Earth.

(God did not give you a bully stick. You picked it up yourself.)

Citizen Kane is my favorite movie of all time, but I like Cool Hand Luke a great deal too. Speaking of celluloid heroes...

Chuck Norris is pleased as punch to be included in the Huckabee campaign. I guess that for folks who found Bruce Lee a bit too Asian, Norris was cooler. To me, he is essentially the Pat Boone of martial arts movies.

However, not every celebrity is happy to be included in this election season. Tom Scholz is an Obama supporter and expressed more than a feeling about it to the Huckster. It may come as a surprise to Mike, but Barry Goudreau is not the genius behind Boston.

Thanks Skep!

Your own gem has got to be transplanted to this thread:

"Huckabee would make a mighty fine gas station attendant, slapping Jesus stickers on cars when they drive off."

I couldn't have said it better myself. :0)

Why so worried, Trixter?

Unless you simply are bigoted against people of faith. And in case you and your leftist pals didn't get the memo, our nation was founded on Biblical principals. Get used to it.

Herb - yes, this nation was found on Biblican principles.

I guess that slavery and the right to vote being denied to women are Biblical principles, aren't they?

I don't think anyone in here is really bigoted against people of faith, we just don't believe that the President of the United States should oversee our government based on his faith. The Constitution plainly lines out that people of ALL faiths are to be included and free.

To deny that based on YOUR faith is, well, un-American.

Wanting the Huckster to bag out is not being bigoted on faith. If anything, it's worry over just how hard the GOP is gonna take it in the sack (again!) this time around!

If he's on the ticket, it's gonna be really ugly as most of us (and that's pretty much everybody but the 23 percenters) know theocracy and free society don't mix. Please tell your friends to support him.

I want the landslide huge. That way we can get some stuff fixed quicker.

In that vein, It's actually supporting people of faith too! Of course you know that down deep. Everybody does. Without freedom to worship on our own terms, most of us then have to live a lie.

Nobody wants to live a lie Herb.

The real deal is that you want your faith legislated, but are just not quite up to coming right out and saying it. I dare you. Why not say it and just have it out and over with?

Like Littlesongs suggested, "Are you a Dominionist nut bag?" is a perfect T-shirt election question for this cycle.

Seriously, why not just talk about the merits of that? Maybe it's the right thing to do.

If it is, then it's not all that tough to just hash it out. Your particular faith is the right one yes? If so, why?

Get that done, and I'll support the effort fully and completely.

Until that's done however, suggesting Trixter is a bigot is just bad form man.
