Jericho is back on the air, starting tonight for a 7 episode run. If you're bored sitting on here, at least see it in the background and join what is the Jericho revolution. NUTS!

I loved the show last season. Last night's episode was lame though. They didn't continue the battle scene, which made for a very anticlimactic show. Instead, they pasted together quick edits of battle scenes that clearly were filmed for, but never included in the last episode as a "flash back". I was just not impressed with the first episode of the new season.

I so disagree as last nights show so opened a can of worms! Don't trust the blue shirted public service agency! Don't trust the new allied states of America. You obviously didn't fully follow the intricacies of last seasons later episodes.

Anyone been watching the last two episodes? Talk about sweet justice last night for Ravenwoods Geotz.

I hope but have doubts that the show is gonna be renewed for another season. Hopefully Sci-Fi picks the series up ala Sliders and or Stargate SG-1.

If it does well enough in these last episodes, it stands a chance to be renewed. Since it has so far gone up against reruns, that only helps. Last nights episode was produced too dark (as in brightness, not macabre).

What CBS found out was that TV ratings didn't mean SQUAT when they noticed how many people were watching online and ONDemand. Those ratings don't get counted by Nielsen.
I think I read in an article when people were sending 50 tons of nuts to CBS because they cancelled the show that they estimated that 15 million were watching Online and ONDemand all over the world.
But like anything else good it will probably be cancelled.

I was unimpressed with the first episode of this season. But the following episodes have been great! Down with Ravenwood! I hope it gets renewed.

Loved how in the first episode they were eating peanuts. I am anxious to find out who the "insider" mystery guy is. At first I thought it was Esai Morales character.

It would also be cool if by the last episode Jericho and New Bern could go from fighting each other in the season 1 finale to joining forces in the season 2 finale.

That would be cool. A lot of the 1-hour dramas now are not episodic, and it frustrates me that there is never any sense of resolution or satisfaction in the plot line. For example, at the end of Law And Order, I hear whether the person is guilty or not, and the DA makes some wise comment about the justice system. I like that. I don't like how every solution creates an unresolved problem at the end of every episode of these new dramas. And nobody has to tell me why the network wants to "leave me hanging". I know why, I just wanted to vent.

I kind of like this actually!

Long running stories, with consistency and continuity are just great. Would much rather follow a show for a number of years and really enjoy the story and character development than some quick and dirty one shot thing.

Law and Order is somewhat different in terms of scope. That one does leave us hanging at times too. Great food for thought in terms of law boundaries and what is justice.

That's the focus of that show, and that's a different thing.
