Just got back from the coast. There is a restaurant in Lincoln City which features the "Lars Larson omelet". It is made with lots and lots of ham. I didn't order it nor did I ask which side of the pig the ham was from.

It seems to me the pig farmers of Oregon should sue that restaurant for putting their product in a bad light.

LOL. I can't remember whether they served sausage links with it. If they did, they could have called them "Lars fingers".

It sounds like something I'll have to try.

I hear they place all the food on the right side of your plate.

"There is a restaurant in Lincoln City which features the 'Lars Larson omelet'."

Can you reveal the name of this joint?

"It sounds like something I'll have to try."

Me, too, Herb! Sounds like some "ham-fisted" good eats to me!

It is called "Richens at the Beach", right on Hwy 101 (it is the old Sip and Sand). It is across the street from the bowling alley.

Pier 101 is still there, right across the street from the old mortuary where Dale Omsberg stored 16 bodies in the garage before his arrest on Oct. 18, 1984.

It must be close to Richens, as I believe Pier 101 is across from the bowling alley.

Pier 101's Halibut Chips are the best. Can't go wrong with almost anything on Pier 101's menu it is indeed an Oregon Coast institution. As much as Mo's is too.

Pier 101 has fresh fish, best as I can tell. They have a fish stew, cioppino or slumgullion that's terrific.

Remember, no one wants to see sausage being made, which is like listening to Lars.

Both products are bad for your heart and can cause brain damage.

How long do you suppose that poll is? I'm guessing 10 feet. I'm just going to leave it over there.

"Sip and Sand" doesn't sound very tasty. No wonder they changed the name.
