Just got back from the coast. There is a restaurant in Lincoln City which features the "Lars Larson omelet". It is made with lots and lots of ham. I didn't order it nor did I ask which side of the pig the ham was from.

It seems to me the pig farmers of Oregon should sue that restaurant for putting their product in a bad light.

LOL. I can't remember whether they served sausage links with it. If they did, they could have called them "Lars fingers".

Pier 101's Halibut Chips are the best. Can't go wrong with almost anything on Pier 101's menu it is indeed an Oregon Coast institution. As much as Mo's is too.

Pier 101 has fresh fish, best as I can tell. They have a fish stew, cioppino or slumgullion that's terrific.
