Me too. ELO is one of those groups that just stands out. I always notice their music.

Me likes ELO too!
There are not many groups that I can say I like everything I've heard from them, but ELO is one of them!
The Move (ELO's predecessor) had some good tons too.
I wonder if Jeff Lynne and ELO ever dreamt that their song would one day be used in a car commercial! Or Led Zeplin's Rock and Roll being used in a Cadillac commercial!!

I remember Portland radio playing "Do Ya" by The Move. [Billboard #93, Cash Box #97] I thought it was a great song, so I bought the 45. Then later bought it by ELO. [Billboard #24, Cash Box #16] Still like The Move's version better.

Another song that has 2 versions is "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" by Eric Burden and the Animals.
He did 2 versions on it. The one everybody is familiar with is the one that get the airplay.
The version on his album "Sun Secrets" is tons better (IMHO), but you never hear it. Not even on Sirius's Vault.
If you ever get a chance to score a copy of "Sun Secrets" and hear it, it is worth listening to.

Twilight - possibly one of the few songs that has international appeal. It was used for the early 2000s Japanese TV series "Train Man".
