I always feel bittersweet on the third. I get the same feeling whenever I see an old Bonanza fly over. The world is a better place because guys like Buddy and Ritchie sang songs that will last forever. The real frog in the throat only comes when a music lover tries to fathom the wasted potential. |

The thing with Buddy Holly was that "an era" was snuffed out before it even really started. Looking back now, its Elvis and The Beatles that first come to mind. It would have been Buddy Holly, Elvis and The Beatles had things gone differently over Clear Lake, Iowa. |

true and a must for any Buddy Holly fan is Gary Buseys performance as Buddy in the Buddy Holly Story as well earned academy award nomination for Busey ,boy did his career get sidetracked!! |

I think Busey's greatest performance, was as Gen "Fighting Joe" Wheeler in the Roughriders. |
