It took Mr. Obama a while. Conservatives have known that for years.

You know, I have to agree. Conservatives really don't like her. Frankly, this time around, I am less worried about striving for unity than Ihave been in the past. Yes, lack of it sucks. But the deal is that Conservatives and Liberals alike can't acheive it. I mean, look how many times Herb proudly says " Gridlock. BRING IT ON! " Yeah. That was fun.

So I tell ya what; We elect Obama to The White House and you'll work with us, right? You'll make the compromises needed on a level that you wouldn't have made had Clinton been elected to The White House.

And if McCain get's in, I'll do the same. Do we have a deal?

I mean we are talking about a guy ( McCain ) who recently said " I am The Democrats worst nightmare." Not exactly winning my heart or mind - but I'm used to it from that side. But I will be willing to compromise. Will you?

Otherwise, there is really no need to even worry about how divisive a candidate is if you are just going to be a big baby unless your personal agenda is at the top of every list of things you want done.

I sure not gonna make that deal.

Seen plenty enough the last 7 years. Truth is, the GOP isn't gonna play that kind of ball, so for better or worse, they have lowered the bar.

Since it's low, kick them hard, fix some stuff, then reconsider after we are running good.

Okay. It's a deal. I disagree with him plenty on issues, but I sincerely like Mr. Obama as a person, from what I've seen of him.

But I'm still hopeful Mr. Huckabee is the VP and will continue to push a pro-life agenda.
