Maybe the new guy will have the stones to replace Terry and Nicole. Seriously, Terry does NOTHING to compliment Nelson and Nicole is simply an unfunny, and relatively dumb addition to the show and could be replaced by a 10 year old with a 7th grade reading level. Lets not forget laugh track Dimitri who laughs the EXACT same laugh every time you hear him. Sometimes I think he's not always there and Terry just hits a button so that the unfunny things Terry says are at least funny to someone.

It sounds like Nelson does all he can to try to make the show funny and interesting but Terry unfortunately has the reigns and ultimately brings the show down. His only source of news is People or EOnline, he has a hard-on for guys on dirt bikes, and tries to make himself sound WAY more important than he actually is. What is that called...small man's syndrome?

Since I retired from radio at the ripe age of 24, I'm not allowed to have an opinion on here but here's my non radio working solution: Fire Terry and tell Nicole to leave the funny to Nelson or fire her too. Who should they hire? Beats the hell out of me, but anything would be better than Terry.

Did Jeff McHugh quit, or did he get fired? Or was it a situation where a contract was up, and they didn't renew?

But actually, yes, the music HAS changed at the Buzz - more pop/Top 40 in the mix than just a month or so ago. And while I liked it before, I like it better now.

Trixter, They are playing a lot of older songs, I should say a lot of the stale overplayed older songs. Man, I havent heard Losing my religion" BY REM in so long, thanks for playing that forgotten track. (KIDDING!)

Id rather listen to Nails scratching a chalkboard than the painfully bad music the Buzz plays.

R&R is reporting that Entercom has just rebranded KOIT in San Francisco as "Fresh" as well. This looks like another bad kneejerk reaction from the top of corporate management (think Charlie) to capitalize on what they think is the latest buzzword-format.

Rebranding (or co-branding, since the article says that KOIT will keep its "Lite Rock,Less Talk" slogan as well) KOIT -- one of the most successful soft-ACs in the history of radio -- is akin to the disasterous attempt to rebrand super62 kaygeedoubleyou as W62, just because the GM thought stations using a single letter and a dial position were cool.

Agreed it would be ill-advised to abandon the brand KOIT has established so well, but I'm thinking it's merely a pre-emptive move by Entercom.

By paying the fee for SF, they avoid having a competitor take it.

Hopefully they won't try to fix what ain't broke.

I've really been enjoying the wide variety on 105.1, lately! I've been hearing early 90's songs that they haven't played since the Q105 days. They're also keeping things fresh with the new R.E.M. and The B-52's.

Q105 always played a lot of songs from the Scorpions back in the day, which Is why I loved them The old q105 was a great station with awesome music! And Im specifically talking about Q105 back in their rock days where they played a lot of the rock bands. The late q015 era sucked!
I remember listening to q105 when they fliped to a more adult contemporary station and thinking "WHAT THE HELL HAPPEND TO Q105". I couldn't take hearing Michael Bolton on q105 so i took that station off the dial, and a few years later that station fliped formats. Could it be because the music SUCKED??? (YES!)
But yes, the Early Q105 days were awesome! Great LIVE RADIO with fun contests and awesome dj's. I miss those days of GREAT radio

Hey Darktemper, The new Scorpions album rocks, I just can't get enough of it. Infact I think Im losing my hearing because of that album. I burned a copy of the new album to a few of my co-workers and they are OBSESSED with the new album, just like I am.
Just an FYI I was at Best Buy and I noticed they have "Limited editions" of Humanity Hour 1" with a special bonus track on it.
It has 13 songs instead of 12. and the 13th song Rocks.

I just wish more stations would give the new album more airplay. If you watch the making of "Humanity Hour1" on You tube, even the Scorpions are hoping radio will start to play their new music. Hey Bozyk at KUF0, Play some new music from the Scorpions!!!!!! This album ROCKS!!!!!!!!
