Yup, you read that right. I read about this earlier today at Radio Info. I didn't believe it either (still don't) but it appears Coby is now making Hybrid Digital Radio receivers-- http://cobyusa.com/?p=prod&prod_num_id=193&pcat_id=3005 (the HDR650, apparently a component receiver) and http://cobyusa.com/?p=prod&prod_num_id=194&pcat_id=3005 (the HDR700, a portable rig.) Note that the second receiver I mentioned is a portable (per spec sheet "Integrated rechargeable battery provides up to 5 hours of play time", go figure) and the fact that there actually is a portable IBAC receiver now says something about the tech. But if they are anything as sensitive as the analogue tuners I have used (on MW & FM regardless) I would be 100% surprised if they even manage to lock a Hybrid Digital Radio signal without being clobbered by an adjacent signal! (FYI, I didn't know if this thread belonged on the Radio board, as it doesn't specifically deal with "Portland Radio" proper, so I put it over here just to be safe.)
