The Nobel Prize is a big thing. While I don’t think it was really warranted for Gore, congratulations to him anyway. It still doesn't put him in the same league as most of the other recipients though.

The Oscar is just a bunch of Hollywierd snobs patting each other on the ass and seeing who can waste the most money on an ugly dress.

What did he do? He made a movie about things he doesn't follow but expects everybody else to.

He made a bunch of speeches and appearances on Letterman and Leno.

He was VP.

I'm sure that there has to be someone more deserving. Not being on the committee I have no clue who, but I'm sure there has to be.

All that being said, I don't fault him for living like that, I would too if I had his bucks. I fault him for preaching one thing and doing the other.

Most of the people that receive the Noble Peace prize, are nothing but whinners. People like Marshal Zhukov, General of the Army Eisenhower and McArther who established peace in Europe and Asia never received one.
