Folks, it's time again. Warm fuzzy thread. This time, I'm just posting one up, instead of stupidly asking where they all went!

Chris, is one of the reasons I love visiting here. All of the banter is great, but I see a light in him that's just great. In my life, I've had some pretty tough rounds with faith. Regularly, I see Chris showing others all the good that can surround that, and it's something I personally admire.

I'm thinking back over many posts about working for himself, why that matters, life choices, family stories, and good conversation about sometimes tough things. I get the feeling Chris is the kind of person one could just talk to and actually not be worried about a whole lot, because he works hard to not judge.

This is so very hard for anybody. To see it consistently done, with what appears to be few worries, is a real treat! Maybe the rest of us will measure up some day.

He's written, more than a few times, that some of us have challenged him, and that's good. I want to return the favor. Where it's looking ugly, I often get a nice picture of how it maybe isn't quite so ugly. It's almost as if he just puts it out there to say, "see guys? Want to think about that a little more and get back to me?" Love that.

Keep the warm fuzzy, empowerment threads coming Chris. They are needed here!

One reason I like Chris is because his wife sounds really, really nice. That means even for a liberal, he must be ok.

Like me, Chris married way up.

I've never seen a post from Chris that isn't thoughtful, and they are always for the good of the thread, or this community; another one of those posters that I always pause to read as I'm scanning.

And then there's always, under the surface, the possibility of seeing Chris get really, really peeved, with "&$#*@" and everything. Best manners around, but he ain't no wussy.

Great to have you here.

Chris Taylor Rocks! Even though I don't think voice tracking is real radio, I respect what he does, and enjoy reading his posts.

I was trying to quote a specific post by Chris that really made me admire him, then I realized, it's all of them! He is often the bringer of balance, and voice of reason when it gets really warm in here :-)

Hey, Beano: It's a great tool to have in your box while you're waiting out the non-compete clause...or looking for the next job. Just sayin' :-) Keeps the family in a place they love, too.

Thanks, Chris, for keeping the faith and sharing it with others.

I too can only say good things about Chris.

As for the VTs, they work for him, but he doesn't jam them down anybodys throat as THE ONLY WAY.

Thanks for some tips along the way........

It's kind of uncomfortable to post on a thread with ones own name attached to it along with the nice comments.

I just wanted to thank you all for the kind words and encouragement.

I am before you humbled and deeply grateful that you count my presence here worthy of your salutations.

Even as you have passed along your kind words to me I encourage you to pass them along to all those you love in your lives. It will truly make a difference, whether you see it or not.

Thanks again.

Peace

Well the deal is that you deserve more than a nod. The REALLY cool thing is that you are happy with the choices you have made. They have made you happy and fulfilled. I mean, you like your job, you are relatively simple ( I mean in that in an " unincumbered " way - not mentally ) and do well to point others to that path too. You recognize that what works for you doesn't always work for others. That goes a long wayfor me. You validate others while sticking to your guns without being obstinate.

It shows that you have grace and character. Good combo. Well done. AND you have never presented in a way that says " Oh, it's all so easy." Nope. Not once. Maybe it has been " clear " to you what solution is available - but you never said it was easy. I like that. Very realistic in this world.

Shees enough with the ass kissing! You can tell that most of the poeple on this board have been in radio for a LONG time because they have The ass kissing down to an art form.

Mike and Beano, maybe you came in late or whatever - maybe you'll still feel the way you do after I point out something ( that's fine ) - but these threads that single out different people from time to time was done by design and on purpose. It's not like we have nothing better to do or we have anything to gain by saying " You know what I like about that guy?..." It can just take the edge off sometimes. believe me, we put it right back on ( usually even sharper ) but it's an exercise to show that even though it gets heated around here, we ( well, SOME of us ) can show that we can, just, you know, talk.

Other times it just feels good to tell someone why you are glad they participate on these silly boards sometimes. It's not a game or a personal attack on you or your respecitve manhoods. It'll be ok. Chris was like the 5th thread that was started. I have had some interaction with Chris and was grateful to take a second to tell him that I've been reminded of a few things that are good. That's all.

So Mike and Beano - blow me.

There. Is that better for you?

Whoa! Catching up now.

Chris Taylor is a person I admire. I aspire to become like him. He is thoughtful, incisive, fair-minded, and well-rounded. What more could you ask for? I sent him an email; he responded. That makes for person-to-person communication in this day and age.

Bottom line: You gotta love a human being like Chris.

We are all lucky to have a part of him sharing with us.

Go In Peace Chris.

Amen!

Chris is one of a kind -- even though the world would be far better off with more folks like him. A giver, a teacher, a peacemaker and a wicked wit all wrapped up in a talented and kind individual. Beyond broadcasting, he has also been the catalyst for some long overdue reevaluation of my spiritual outlook. My life is richer knowing him.
