But, if they abduct him to perform the probe, Cheney can't claim jurisdiction over the aliens, because the "crime" wasn't perpetrated anywhere on Mother Earth (his usual M.O.)

If we can spot galaxy's millions of light years away, don't you think we would have iron clad documented evidence of UFO's if they indeed existed? This is as authentic as the UFO in the back yard of the Brady house.

The scene in Independence Day where the population including 'Uncle Eddie" (yeah I know wrong film but no matter which film he's in its still Uncle Eddie) raid Area 51. Now that will be the day we all will finally know what exactly the truth is.

Were the fighter planes chasing, or protecting/training with, the larger ship?
Several times the Air Force has tried to develop a flying aircraft carrier, They even launched F5's out of a C5 at one time. Plus at one time they had these little parasite fighters that could be attached to a B52.
