I've noticed two things about K-Hits lately: 1) The processing is muddy. I heard the same song on K-Hits and KOOL at the same time. I went back and forth to each station, and K-Hits seemed muddy and not as loud. KOOL seemed louder and sharper, and more fun to listen to. This was not an isolated event. Often I will tune to K-Hits and the processing seems dull. I wonder if this could be related to remote broadcasts from the Rock N' Roll Cafe. I've driven by and seen Audio Vault in use through the window. It makes me wonder if there is a "redundant" server, but with compressed audio files in use at that secondary studio. 2)In the last few days, I've noticed some new songs from CCR and others that I hadn't heard in the K-Hits rotation before. Any thoughts?

KOOL's audio is clearly better, the hit rotations tighter, K-HITS is better on the programming, it's a toss-up! I observe fans of both stations! I think KHITS has the edge. KOOL's morning show is too bland and AC or, would you say, very nice, polite, PC, corporate and boring, plus they lack that crucial human connection thru the day and nite and weekend. Otherwise they're just fine! KHITS talent may be lacking (or would that be asleep?), but at least there's a warm body present from time to time! In today's po' ole' radio world, we're lucky.

I disagree that the talent is lacking. The overnight guys sound inexperienced but I think that's encouraging that they actually have overnight guys! The dayparted talent is top-notch in my opinion!
