Ah, no, Iraq attacked Kuwait an American ally, the US drove Iraq back, and a cease fire was established, requirting Iraq to comply with several requirements, Iraq failed to comply, so the war was restarted. In other words, the timeout was over.

We didn't have to "restart" the war. Containment was working, as evidenced by the lack of WMD's found. Plus, containment would have saved US taxpayers billions (soon to be trillions) not to mention close to 4000 US troops would still be alive and with their families. There is no way around that fact that more people are dead as a result of our actions, as compared to just continuing to contain Saddam. Unfortunately for the world, Bush Jr had to show everyone how tough he is by attempting to outdo his old man.

Irrelevant how many he may or not have had, the truce required Saddam to open up all areas for insprction, he didn't do it.

Sure he did. Inspectors went back in at the end of 2002. They had to be withdrawn prematurely because Bush was fueling the bombers and missiles. And that was not a reason given to go to war. The WMDs were. My, you have a short memory!

So, Nwokie, I guess Native Americans have the right to invade D.C. and hang Bush for all the treaties we broke.

151,000 Iraqis and 4,000 American dead because of a broken treaty.

Is is really worth it?

They can try, however, since in the thirties, all American indians were given American Citizenship, that would make them traitors, and they could be hung.

DUHbya is an American and has screwed up America beyond all comprehension. Does that not make him a traitor by any means? Shouldn't he be hung?

In the words of one Native American --

"United States citizenship was just another way of absorbing us and destroying our customs and our government. How could these Europeans come over and tell us we were citizens in our country? We had our own citizenship. By its [the Citizenship Act of 1924] provisions all Indians were automatically made United States citizens whether they wanted to be so or not. This was a violation of our sovereignty. Our citizenship was in our nations."

I never take any topic on here seriously when you are too fucking lazy or ignorant to actually spell the Presidents name.

Gee, I wonder if Trixter has a Bias, so hard to tell when you butcher his name.

The shock! The horror! The stares! The whispers! Yes, folks, it was not an easy childhood, being me, the product of a brief but passionate alien intergalactive love tryst gone terribly awry. But I've survived, nay, thrived, and am stronger for all the difficulties and obstacles that I've encountered and overcome. Hear me roar!
