Help oversee the staff of the largest radio newsroom in the Pacific Northwest. The KOMO 1000 Newsroom is comprised of some of the finest talents in the radio industry, and therefore, leadership needs are different from other operations. Our professionals do not require instruction; they crave a management style that fosters ideas, new directions and most important, provides support for what they do best. Manage the newsroom writing staff, assist with news planning, scheduling, assignments and supervising the newsroom in the absence of the News Director. Create and maintain news assignment system that tracks current and future news stories/events, work with News Director scheduling talent and become the point person in scheduling emergencies. Work week includes Saturday and Sunday, either a physical shift, or on-call. This position requires management/leadership experience in the broadcast industry..........

Unfortunately, they will never know how perfect I am for this position. Hell, I would take it for half pay for the first 90 days just to prove it to them. Oh well.....back to earth, I'm hoping for consideration for that part time position at Family Video........
