Im really digging the 90's rock Kufo has been playing a lot of lately.
As much of a Train Wreck Courtney Love is, Im a huge HOLE fan and I had to crank up "celebrity skin" when I heard it on Kufo last weekend. (that song ROCKS) But Its also fun hearing stuff like Blur, Ugly Kid joe, Old Soundgarden., Space Hog. Great stuff, I hope they continue playing this stuff because I love it.
Its so nice to hear some Real Rock for a change. Im so sickk of hearing Matchbox 20, The Goo Goo Dolls and all those other Crappy overplayed bands that SUCK!!! Who the heck listens to Matchbox 20, seriously??? They are so overplayed, yet I know nobody (men or women who likes them or owns any of their albums. Thankfully KUFO does not play that crap!

Yup, Kufo's music has been sounding really good. I have noticed a LOT more of the grunge rock added to the format, not to mention a lot more variety on that station. Everything from Hendrix to Linkin Park. Thats my kind of station. Nice job UFO!

Id like to request "girl you'll be a woman soon" by Urge Overkill.(from Pulp Fiction) That is one of my favorite songs from the 90's and actually it is one of the few remakes that is better than the original. Nothing like watching Uma Thurman doing lines of Coke, then having her fall to the ground while Urge Overkill is playing in the background.

I believe NRQ is now streaming. I haven't tried it yet, so I don't know how well it works, but you can hear your Met-AL-ica and your AL in Chains that way.

Speaking of 90s songs on KUFO, I'm listening as I type this; they're playing that 1995 hit from Bush, "Everything Zen."
Interesting that they'd edit out "asshole," but leave in the entire line "as you search for your damned God, may you fake with a saint."
Anyone who's ever been Christian could tell you that the latter is much, much worse than the former!
I should probably also add that I really don't care for the edits at all... I'd rather the stations stop down and air a disclaimer that if one doesn't like the "attitude" of the songs then they should consider listening to another radio station, and/or parents should pay more attention to what their kids listen to.

I've noticed that this is the second or third weekend in a row that KUFO is running the "smells like the 90's" weekend. Could this be a regular weekend feature on kufo, instead of the threesome weekends??? It sounds to me that people really DO want to hear the grunge bands like Nirvana, AIC, and Pearl Jam. Plus KUFO's ratings went up after they started playing a lot more of the grunge rock.

KUFO is doing smells like the 90's weekend again this weekend. It must be working for them.
