Great Photo's Andrew! I used to dabble a little in 35mm photog but just don't have the time anymore. Got lot's of Pentax 35mm gear and never use it anymore. |

Digital is just too convenient for me - I don't shoot film at all anymore, and the quality of prints now is outstanding. There's really no need to use 35mm anymore unless you like to mess around with it or you are doing something unique like black and white, which is more tricky to do with digital. |

Oh, and the ONE shot I really hoped to get the entire day was the span floating under the St. Johns Bridge. I knew the exact spot I was going to shoot from - I've shot the St. Johns from there numerous times...I was on the St. Johns shooting the barge floating down river, it was moving pretty fast, and I had to hustle to get back to my spot to shoot the span floating under. And JUST THEN my camera battery died!!!! Damn! I had a spare in my pocket but I couldn't fish it out in time to get the shot. Rookie mistake! I was so mad. (You can see the span floating under the St. Johns probably on the news tonight; one of the news channels had a cameraman there filming it and unlike me, he didn't screw up.) |

I was lucky - I forgot about the span float entirely but they kept delaying it from earlier this month. Was supposed to happen Thursday but they put it off due to the "snow" we never got. I just heard a blurb about it somewhere on the radio and got up early (grumble, grumble) to get out there this morning. |
