This is KGON's new top-of-the-hour as of the last couple of months. I assume Entercom voluntarily did this, because not all stations in town with an HD signal use this TOPHR format. Does anyone know if this will be required as the format for legal IDs at some point?

KGON is a little more obvious about it but they all have to ID the HD channels now.

I know KNRK, on the main (analogue) channel, has been IDing their IBAC channel on-air (i.e. "KNRK H.D.1, Camas Portland") in conjunction with their main ID for at least a few months now....... I don't know what they have been doing on the HybriDigital channel tho, as I don't have a receiver for that.

The HD legal ID is now a requirement (as of Sept.14th). Other audio services must also be ID'd via data and/or audio means along with city of license. For example, "KQOL-HD2, Vancouver". EAS requirements also apply to the extra HD channels.

"Other audio services must also be ID'd via data and/or audio means along with city of license." So is the FCC also requiring this for SCA channels now, too?
