Just another Ham Fisted Leftist Ad Haminah attack on a fine Candidate. If you can't argue your point then just name call. And what with the Demo approval rating only at 5% just who do you think the public favors. Spin On.

From the story:
Huckabee's double-digit deficits with the leading Democrats likely suggest that the Arkansas Republican still lacks widespread name recognition nationally, according to Keating Holland, CNN's polling director.

I'd suggest instead that while Huckabee is popular with the hard-core social conservatives on the right, most swing voters don't like him. Voters may like a candidate who believes in God but not one who professes not to believe in Evolution! Name recognition isn't going to help Huckabee.

Being a nice, aw-shucks guy can only carry you so far if your views are so far out of whack with mainstream America. Contrary to what Herb and his ultra-right wing ilk believes, the American public has come a long way to the left in the last eight years.

Either that or they are so sick of Bush and the current state of the GOP, that they are just going to vote for whoever the Democrats throw out.

Huckabee, I like in a lot of ways. He's just too conservative to get elected, though.

I refuse to take any national poll with anything other than an unlicked salt lick. What they should be talking about is how Huckabee stands up to leading Democrats in Ohio, which is where the election will probably be decided, again. As we all know very well, the national election means zip.

I think America has come more CENTER not so much RIGHT. Remember guys Herb's way of thinking is EXTREME RIGHT and America was CON-ed into thinking EXTREME by the likes of LimBLAH and Insannity. They've since opened their eyes to what the EXTREME has done in the last 7 years.

He doesn't know foreign policy AND we've seen for the last eight years how someone who has no foreign policy knowledge does things. OK, he's seems like a good guy, but he says the same old tired Republican things, homesexuality is wrong and outlaw abortion. I really think the republicans need to rethink their strategy and realize although the evangelicals help them win, they can't do it alone.

Just read something from him yesterday. Women are to OBEY, submit to their husbands, just as men do to Christ.

That's not gonna get the women voting! IMHO, it's enough to really hobble his overall chances.

Hey, I don't adore him but with the Herbster off in la la land someplace somebody had to stir up controversy. Must be a Nixon convention someplace.

You know I wasn't talkin' bout you, Willis!

Oh great, you just know the wack-a-mole is going to pop his head up and prattle on, now that you've conjured him up.

ROFL
OK, everyone meet at Chuck-E-Cheeses.
I'll bring the felt pen and post-it-notes with "W" "Nixon" and "Herb" on them! Then we can stick em on the moles!
The line forms behind Merkin and probably won't last to long before the "Whack-a-Troll" game gets busted! Trixter, your last or no one else will get a turn for sure!

Can we stick the post-it-notes on people?

Maybe stick the one titled "Herb" on CJ, since he already introduced himself to us as Herb. (I STILL laugh about that! hah)

"Either that or they are so sick of Bush and the current state of the GOP, that they are just going to vote for whoever the Democrats throw out."

There is also a large segment of the population who will vote for WHOEVER runs against Hillary. I hope the race is more interesting than another ideology war though; in other words, I'd like to see some candidates with fresh ideas that don't just toe their party's line.
