I am surprised they havent gone to this technology sooner. Its been around in large part for about 3 years or so. Its just the usual lag in technology and 'custom'. The sorry thing about all this is that somebody probably looses their job. The upside is the timely actuality of it all. And the 21st century marches on.... |

It also gives the rest of the world a chance to find and work all the bugs out of new gear, and also bring the price down a bit. That can be a bit costly for early adopters. |

no video games, and I don't think the difference between my 1080i upconverter dvd player and the hd or bluray is that much different. |
