It was in 1937 "The Cinnamon Bear" was first introduced to listeners nationwide and in the Portland area over KXL & KALE. This holiday season the 15 minute episodes are once again heard nightly at 7:00pm on K103. |

I think K103's HD is a little raspy but The Cinnamon Bear has never sounded nearly as good! |

I am hoping Golden Hours will be broadcasting the Cinnamon Bear this year.......but with the changes they seem to have been making in their scheduling recently (i.e. simulcasting audio from Children's programming in the mornings instead of the news past 6:30) I am not holding out too much hope, at least this early in the month. I might only end up being disappointed........ |

Thanks Billcooper. As far as I know, KBPS has carried this holiday series longer than anyone in the country. |

I have a both a stuffed Cinnamon Bear and a Cinnamon Bear puppet that I will bring to the next meeting. I might even let you pet them. It took years to find them, Thank God for eBay! |
