Give me enough money and I can buy influence over other people's votes. So it would have to be quite a lot of money to give up my own vote. Tens of millions at least. Without that ability, you could not pay me to give up my right to vote. |

Didn't think of it that way. Interesting idea. You still would be "voting" by proxy, but "voting" all the same. |

Well, it's obvious that many students do not value their right to vote, given that so few of them actually exercise it. |

Which is why Stephen Colbert did what he did. He was trying to get them interested, because nagging and lecturing isn't going to do it this time. What is really amazing to me is the fact the South Carolina democrats didn't seem to grasp it. |
