I'm thinking Musharraf ought to make the ultimate sacrifice and secretly disarm his nukes and quietly dump them in the Pacific. This way he'll go down the plus column in the history books if Pakistan melts down.
(Oh yeah, better to have nukes in the Pacific than in the hands of al qaeda. Hmm?

Why does this surprise anyone? Bin Laden is in Pakistan and has been for a long time. Or are we all just like Bush and we just don't think about it much anymore? That is until the next 9/11 when we will all be running around like chickens with our heads cut off the way we did that day shouting how we need to get him and bring him to justice.
It is true what the rest of the world says about us. We really do have a short attention span.
