Being that California as just a state is among the top ten economies in the world, I don't think that would be a very good idea. 17% of US GDP comes from California. I'm sure they'd be happy to sever ties, as they'd be better off financially.

I didn't say all of California, just Hollywierd. (Although there are some other places in CA that could stand a good bombing too like Bezerkly!)
