The current bid is $45,650.50 with the entire final sale price going to the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation.

Here is a link to the auction if you are interested;

There is a list of the senators who signed it on the auction.

I'm sorry to say that one of our WA bimbos (Patty Murray) signed it. Although it doesn't surprise me.

Holy Crap! I just looked at the auction and it's at $851,000. 15+ hours left

That's great for the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation.

I wonder if it'll top a mil?

I wonder if they'll release the name of who wins?

Dosen't matter. The money still goes to a good cause!

Just looked again; $1,200,100! 199 bidders!

Add: 9:32 PM: $2,000,200.00. Will be a huge donation considering the total the group has given away is $29 million!

You libs just can't stand it when something good happens for our soldiers who have died in combat. Sick. Do you ever wonder why Conservatives have so much disgust with the thinking of the radical left?

No, but I am disgusted that conservatives gleefully send our troops to their deaths for an unnecessary war that is not making America any safer.

I don't care who made the bid or why, I just hope it is real. I don't support Limbaugh, but I do support what he is going to do with the money if he ever gets it.

Even though this reeks of exploitation and a PR stunt to me, I can live with it.

Can someone tell more about the organization and just exactly the role it plays within our military? Not trying to sound ignorant...just being ignorant.

I'm helping a young tribal member/friend who has a 17-month-old son, and another baby on the way who's husband is fighting in Iraq.

Yeah, DJ, What are YOU doing, besides having a faded yellow magnetic "ribbon" from WalMart on your POS 4-door sedan? (Paying taxes doesn't count)

Chris,

They provide scholarship assistance to children of Marines and Federal law enforcement personnel whose parent dies on duty.

I'm pleasantly surprised, they have an extremely low overhead, 0.8% for fundraising and admin, which is amazingly good, (I verified that) so I can live with it also...
