It was announced that Gap Broadcast ( actually purchased by a subsidiary Gap West ) is buying the 2 Clear Channel properties in each of the Tri-Cities and Yakima. They have also purchased a number of other clusters in the N.W. I went out to thier website to have a look.
I dont know anything about this company other than they currently own 59 radio stations in Texas in small and medium markets and 1 TV station somewhere else, perhaps Oklahoma. I just put this out to the listers to see if anybody knows anything about this ownership.

Radio&Records' website reported this is a start-up funded by one of those (wonderful) "capital management" companies; and the other stations they own were also former CC and Apex stations. If you go to R&R's website right now, and click on "GAP Broadcasting Buys 57 More CCR Stations," it shows the details that is the basis of my post.
