It looks like NBC's Sunday Night Football is a taking a rating bite out of CBS's 60 Minutes. I've just notice that 60 mins has been doing a 2 hour program lately. 60 Minutes has always lead the Sunday night ratings until SNF came along.

I always thought a fantasy football league, would involve the dallas cheerleaders and 2 hands above or below the waist. You have your fantasy, and I will have mine.

I think you all need to consider: #1. 60 Minutes for years enjoyed football as a lead-in which coupled with weak competition from the other networks allowed it to enjoy big ratings. #2. Not only does 60 Minutes have football to contend with, but the home videos on ABC have been taking a larger share of the ratings for several years now. #3. Let's face it, their demo is much like Rush's demo, it's dying off and their reporters may soon follow. In conclusion, 60 Minutes is doing much the same thing it did 30 years ago with much of the same people it had 30 years ago. It has stronger competition now than it had then. Plus, the younger generations just don't want to watch it like they did 30 years ago. Plus I think the anti-information conservatives have done a remarkable job in branding 60 Minutes a "liberally biased" show turning a lot of people off of it. It just hasn't done a real good job of keeping up with the times and that's catching up.

For decades 60 Minutes was the only prie time news show, that did in debth reporting. They had good, fairly objective reporters and crews. I dont think that can be said toay, they have a liberal agenda, and it shows.
