Yes. Was looking at "The Worst Album Covers Of All Time" website and felt(and saw) the audio console and monitors shake. I just thought somebody had slammed our garage door shut or something.(My location is approx. 25km SW of McMinnville.)

Here is the earthquake from the USGS Earthquake site;

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsus/Maps/US2/44.46.-124.-122.php

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsus/Quakes/uw09240620.php

Plug these coordinates into Google Earth and it will "fly" right to the epicenter. It's right on the bank of the Willamette River North of Windsor Island and South of Grand Island.

45.099°N, 123.030°W

Hope it doesn't drain the river!

If you don't have Google Earth, it's here: http://earth.google.com/

It's a cool program and it's free. Even the free version has high resolution pictures that are good enough that I can tell which vehicles are parked in my driveway!

I was waiting in line 3 miles East of Otis (yes, Otis) on hwy 20 for the Sheriff to clear off a fatal accident. Didn't feel anything (I was listening to Kraftwerk, so that might have been it).

(Oh, apparently an idiot rear ended a line of cars waiting for a flagger. Looks like he was the only fatality).

Yes, that was one of them. There is also a web site with horrid cover art from all genre of recorded music.(nearly 150 examples with some of the absolute worst cover art of all time. A lot of them seem to be from German metal bands, ranging from "WTF?" to absolutely disgusting--maybe even illegal--for example: the horrible Scorpions "Virgin Killer" cover...Ewwww...What the hell were they thinking!? Some of the funniest ones are the independent gospel groups of the 70's. Ultra cheesy! Plaid and stripes just don't go together...) I can't remember where I found the site, though.

BTW, just to keep this thread on track, I didn't feel Tuesday's 4.8 quake. I was at Big Lots in Salem at the time.

But don't forget:

http://www.quisp.com/

Quotes from Quake's nemesis:

Arch Enemy: Quake, the guy who makes that earthquake powered cereal. He drives me nuts.

The most influential person in my life was: Quake. He always keeps me on my toes, all six of them.

When was the Quisp vs. Quake election?

I thought they tasted the same. Quisp, however, is still available. Quake trembled and croaked.
