Paulwilson, I hope nobody starts a rumor about Hey Jude being about drugs or it will disappear from the valley in a flash. Remember what happened last year with Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds? All levity aside, I have a soft spot for this station. Hooray for Eve and the last of the independents. Being beyond the fringe of KLYC - I am gonna guess it was the brand new one, How Long from the Eagles.

'Dang Me' is a great song. Could 'England Swings' be far behind? Personally, I'd love to hear them play 'Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport.' Seriously. Herb

For my money, KLYC could always use more Lobo. "Baby...I'd love you to want me...." Herb

Did you know that once Reynolds left the group to pursue college, they actually changed the name of the group to Hamilton, Joe Frank & Dennison? That's when the group kind of tanked. A little KLYC '70's music trivia for ya. Herb

Herb: That's all true but here's something you might not know. When Tommy Reynolds left the group in 1972 and replaced by Alan Dennison, it was him with Dan Hamilton & Joe Frank Carollo who recorded their biggest hit "Fallin' In Love" and their follow up "Winners And Losers". The group kept their name with Reynolds listed on those singles.

Yes! Here's more Playboy Records trivia. The re-activated labels first 45 single release was by Portland's own "Hudson" later known as the Hudson Brothers. "Leavin' It's Over" hit Billboard's Bubbling Under The Hot 100 chart at #110.
