I tried googling and didn't come up with anything about the EMF automobiles that were manufactured in Portland. According to the book, "Oregon The Way It Was" by Edwin Culp, the public often referred to them as "Every Morning Fix'em." |

Cool stuff Randy! I wonder if they built the EMF in one of the current City Liquidators buildings. Before "No Fault Walt" painted over it, the structure still had an ever fading, but proud Studebaker Carriage Works on three sides. It would have been served by rail from the turn of last century, and I believe that early Studebaker automobiles were assembled in that location. |
